7th Pay Commission: Good News! Bumper increase of 6 percent in dearness allowance, government issued order, see details

7th Pay Commission: Chhattisgarh government has increased the Dearness Allowance of the employees of the state by 6 percent.

7th Pay Commission: The Chhattisgarh government on Tuesday announced an increase of 6 percent in the Dearness Allowance (DA) of the state government employees. Dearness Allowance has been increased to 28 percent by the state government. An official said that at least 3.8 lakh employees will benefit from this decision of the state government.

In a circular posted by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on its official Twitter handle, it has been said that from May this year, the employees of the state government will get 22 percent under the 7th Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission) and 6th Pay Commission (6th Pay Commission). Under ) 174 percent DA has been given.

How much Dearness Allowance increased

It has been said in the order that after the revision of Dearness Allowance, an increase of 6 per cent and 15 per cent has been made under the Seventh and Sixth Pay Commission respectively. From August 1 this year, employees will get 28 per cent and 189 per cent DA.

Government will have so much burden

The government said that due to this increase in Dearness Allowance, there will be an additional burden of Rs 2,160 crore annually on the exchequer of the government. A federation of state government officers and employees went on strike for five days last month over their various demands, including hike in DA and House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Officials said that on August 13, a delegation of Chhattisgarh Staff Officers Federation (CAKM) had met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who had agreed to increase the DA by 6 per cent.
