Wedding News: A strange case has come to light in Sikandarpur village of Chainpur police station area of Kaimur district of Bihar. Husband Niyaz Khan, along with sister-in-law Rubana, strangled his own wife to death with a dupatta for not getting a bike in dowry. Then, to give the appearance of suicide, made a noose with the help of a dupatta and hung it in the fan. It is reportedly being told that the accused husband Niyaz had an illicit relationship with sister-in-law Rubana Khatoon, due to which the sister-in-law was unhappy with this marriage. Together they hatched a dreadful plot of murder.
Husband murdered for not getting bike
The father of the deceased lodged an FIR against the accused husband and sister-in-law in the police station. This incident happened on 5th July. Within 12 hours of filing the report, the police took quick action and arrested the sister-in-law and the accused husband. The sister of the deceased tells that the marriage took place only 20 days ago. Since then he used to torture my daughter for demanding dowry. Was demanding a bike in dowry. The father of the deceased said that we are not rich enough to buy you a bike in dowry. Somehow the family is nurtured but he did not agree and killed my daughter.
Leaving first wife was doing second marriage
The information about the murder was not given to us by his family members. We have reached here when the villagers called. The accused husband has left his first wife, whose case is still going on in Chandauli district. After that my daughter was married. The accused sister-in-law told that Niyaz was asking for a bike in dowry, was very angry due to not getting the bike. I had a relationship with him earlier, but haven’t since marriage. He had called me to hold his leg, when I grabbed his leg, he strangled his wife to death with a dupatta and then hung the body from the fan with the same dupatta. I only caught my feet, apart from this there is no fault of mine.
Gave the form of suicide after killing
Giving information, Bhabua DSP Sunita Kumari said that on July 5, a man murdered his own wife by strangling her, then hung the body from the fan with her dupatta to give her the appearance of suicide. When such information was received from the family members, the police reached the spot in Sikandarpur village. The family members were preparing to perform the last rites of the dead body. Where the body was sent for post-mortem after taking possession and on the basis of the application of the maternal uncle of the deceased, an FIR was lodged at Chainpur police station.
Police registered the case and continued the investigation
In the investigation of the case, it was found that the accused husband had an illicit relationship with his sister-in-law. Sister-in-law was not happy with the marriage, after which the husband used to demand dowry. On not getting the dowry, her sister-in-law grabbed the leg of the deceased and the accused husband strangled her with a dupatta and then hung the body from the fan to make it look like suicide. The dupatta used in the murder has been recovered and both the sister-in-law and brother-in-law of the accused admitted their involvement in the incident. Within 12 hours of registering the case, the police have arrested both the accused and further investigation is on.
