Gold and silver prices continue to fall from all-time highs. Gold and silver rates are falling heavily. Currently, the price of pure gold is below the Rs.61,000 mark, while gold used for jewelery is nearing the Rs.55,000 mark. And the price of silver is approaching Rs.76,000 mark.
Gold prices fell heavily in Hyderabad on Friday. The price of 10 grams of gold, which is used for making jewellery, decreased by Rs.150 to Rs.55,650 from Rs.55,800. And the price of pure gold is below the Rs.61,000 mark. Looking at the price of pure gold in Hyderabad, the price of 10 grams increased by Rs.160 from Rs.60,870 to Rs.60,710.
On the other hand the price of silver is also falling heavily. On Friday, a kilo of silver fell by Rs.300 to Rs.76,200 from Rs.76,500. The silver price of Libra is available at the price of Rs.762. The prices in Hyderabad are the same in cities like Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati in Telugu states.
Gold prices hit an all-time high on May 5. From there the prices are decreasing. On that day, the price of 22 carat gold reached the price of Rs.57,200 and the price of 24 carat gold reached the price of Rs.62,400. On the same day, the price of a kilo of silver reached Rs.83,700. From there, the price of gold fell by Rs.1,500, while the price of silver fell by Rs.7,500.
If the prices of gold and silver decreased in the Hyderabad market, the gold and silver rates also increased in the Multi Commodity Exchange. Gold 2023 June futures are trading at Rs 59,510, up 0.08 per cent or Rs 50. On MCX, Silver 2023 July futures are trading at Rs 70,482, down 0.34 percent or Rs 240.
The prices of gold and silver have fallen drastically in the international market as well. Currently, the gold price is trading around $1948.80 an ounce. The price of silver in the international market has reached 23 dollars. It is currently trading around $23.02.
