Airtel: Bharti Airtel has now made its entry level plans expensive in 2 more states. Bharti Airtel has told CNBC-TV18 that the company has launched higher minimum recharge plans in two more circles i.e. Maharashtra and Kerala. The new entry-level plan is priced at Rs 155 with unlimited voice calls, 1GB data and 300 SMS. With this move of the company, entry level plans have become costlier in 19 out of 22 circles. Kolkata, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh are among the three circles or states where prices have not been increased so far by the telecom operator.

Airtel spokesperson told CNBC-TV18 that metered tariffs have been discontinued to provide better customer experience. The entry level plan has been priced at Rs 155. In this plan, customers will get unlimited voice, 1 GB data and 300 SMS. He said that he hopes that with this he will get better plan and service.

Bharti Airtel first discontinued the Rs 99 entry-level plan in Haryana and Odisha in November last year. Together, the number of customers in both the circles is 5 percent of the total number of customers of Airtel. Last month, the company extended the plan to another 15 circles, taking the total number to 17. According to the official data of TRAI, Bharti Airtel got 15.26 lakh customers in the month of December. The company has expanded its 5G+ network to include all the North Eastern states.

Brokerage firm Morgan Stanley believes that these plans can be rolled out across India in the coming weeks. The note also states that the entry level tariff hike will not have a major impact on the revenue. Morgan Stanley expects Bharti to drive 1.3-1.5 percent of India mobile revenue. According to the brokerage, 4G tariff hike will be the biggest trigger. Goldman Sachs also issued a note on Bharti Airtel on Monday, calling the stock a buy on any correction. Employee’s Pension Scheme: Employees have a chance to get more pension, EPFO started the application process, know the details
