Like every month, banks are going to have holidays next month as well. The list of Bank Holidays in April 2023 has been released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). According to the official website of RBI, in April 2023, banks will remain closed for 15 days in different states. If there is any important work related to the bank, then settle it as soon as possible. If the bank holidays start, then you will not be able to do this important work.

Bank Holidays In April 2023
According to the RBI calendar, banks are going to remain closed for many days in April due to weekly holidays as well as local festivals of the states.
- April 1, 2023: Due to bank account closing, there will be a holiday in banks in all states. (Except Chandigarh, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh)
- 2 April 2023: Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
- 4 April 2023: Banks will remain closed in Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Raipur and Ranchi on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.
- 5 April 2023: On the occasion of Babu Jagjivan Ram’s birthday, there will be a bank holiday in Telangana.
- 8 April 2023: Due to the second Saturday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
- 9 April 2023: Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
- 14 April 2023: Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Dehradun, Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Telangana, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Nagpur on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti Banks are going to remain closed in Panaji, Patna, Ranchi, Srinagar and Kerala.
- 15 April 2023: Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Guwahati, Kochi, Kolkata, Shimla and Kerala on the occasion of Bohag Bihu.
- 16 April 2023: Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
- 18 April 2023: Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar due to Shab-e-Qadr.
- 21 April 2023: Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Jammu, Kochi, Srinagar and Kerala on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramadan Eid).
- 22 April 2023: Banks will have a holiday due to the fourth Saturday.
- 23 April 2023: Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
- 30 April 2023: Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
