Announcement on World Heritage Day

The ASI announced free entry on November 19 to see centrally protected buildings on the occasion of World Heritage Day on Friday. Its order was issued by Dr. NK Pathak, Director (Heritage) of ASI, which states that under the authority given in Rule-4 of Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Rules, 1959, entry in Taj Mahal on November 19 without giving ticket The order is given.

Free entry will be available in 3,691 heritage sites of the country

Due to the beginning of World Heritage Week, not only will free entry be given in Agra’s Taj Mahal, but on Saturday you can see 3,691 protected buildings and monuments across the country without spending a ticket. These buildings are being protected by ASI. Of these, maximum 745 heritage sites are present in Uttar Pradesh, out of which tickets have to be taken for 143 to take entry. Apart from Agra’s Taj Mahal, free entry will also be given in Delhi’s Red Fort.
