Gold and silver prices continue to fall from all-time highs. Gold and silver rates fell heavily in one day. Currently, the price of pure gold has fallen below the Rs.61,000 mark. Gold used in jewelery has dipped below the Rs 56,000 mark. And the price of silver touched the mark of Rs.76,500.
Gold prices fell sharply in Hyderabad on Thursday. The price of 10 grams of gold, which is used for making jewellery, decreased by Rs.450 to Rs.55,800 from Rs.56,250. And the price of pure gold has reached below the mark of Rs.61,000. Looking at the price of pure gold in Hyderabad, the price of 10 grams increased by Rs.490 from Rs.61,360 to Rs.60,870.
On the other hand the price of silver is falling heavily. On Thursday, silver fell by Rs.1,000 to Rs.76,500 per kg from Rs.77,500. Libra silver price is available at Rs.765. The prices in Hyderabad are the same in cities like Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati in Telugu states.
Gold prices hit an all-time high on May 5. From there the prices are decreasing. On that day, the price of 22 carat gold reached the price of Rs.57,200 and the price of 24 carat gold reached the price of Rs.62,400. On the same day, the price of a kilo of silver reached Rs.83,700. From there, the price of gold fell by Rs.1,500, while the price of silver fell by Rs.7,200.
Not only in the Hyderabad market, but also in the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices and silver prices fell. Gold 2023 June futures were trading at Rs 59,717, down 0.24 per cent or Rs 143. On MCX, silver 2023 July futures are trading at Rs 70,782, down 0.43 percent or Rs 304.
The prices of gold and silver have fallen drastically in the international market as well. Currently, the gold price is trading around $1957.60 an ounce. The price of silver in the international market has reached 23 dollars. It is currently trading around $23.10.
