Groom Shot His Friend In His Wedding: In an untoward incident, a wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district turned tragic when the groom shot his own friend dead in celebration. The shocking video of the incident which took place in Brahmanagar area of the district was caught on camera. The clip of the event is going viral on social media.

In the video, the groom can be seen celebrating while standing on the chariot, during which he also had a revolver in his hand, with which he tried to fire in the air, but due to a mistake, his friend was shot. The deceased has been identified as Babu Lal Yadav, an army soldier by profession. According to reports, the gun used in the firing belonged to Babu Lal Yadav.

Confirming the incident, Sonbhadra Superintendent of Police Amarendra Pratap Singh said that the groom and the victim were friends. He said Yadav was immediately rushed to the hospital but died during treatment. Talking to the media, the Superintendent of Police said that the groom has been taken into custody and an FIR has also been registered. Further investigation is on in the matter.
