Greater Noida: A 21-year-old female student of Shiv Nadar University in Greater Noida was allegedly shot dead by a male classmate inside the university campus On Thursday afternoon. The accused, a final-year student of the university, later shot himself dead at the boys’ hostel, police said.
The man, identified as Anuj Singh, and the woman, Neha Chaurasiya were Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) students and were residents of Amroha and Kanpur, respectively.
A shocking CCTV footage of the alleged murder has surfaced on social media platforms. In the clip, the accused and the woman can be seen talking to each other outside the dining hall on the campus before pulling out a pistol from his bag and opening firing at her. She tries to stop Anuj by later collapses. She was shot at least twice in the chest and abdomen. After killing the woman, the man immediately leaves the spot.
