UPI Payment: UPI or Unified Payment Interface can be said to be the most liked medium for making online payments. It has become very easy to do small amount transactions online. For this, many platforms like GPay, Paytm, BHIM UPI are being used on a large scale. But many banks also have their own apps, which allow making UPI payments within the app itself. ICICI Bank’s iMobile Pay app is like this. This app gives the option of UPI based fund transfer. The good thing is that the customer of any bank can create his UPI ID here and even if ICICI does not have a bank account, he can do the transaction.
The UPI ID on the app works like a financial address and you do not need details like beneficiary’s account number, IFSC code or internet banking user ID/password etc. You can do direct transactions up to 1 lakh in a day from the app.
How to setup UPI in ICICI Bank’s iMobile Pay?
- Login to ICICI iMobile App.
- Click on the box for ‘BHIM UPI’.
- Click on the ‘Manage’ button.
- Select ‘Create Virtual Payment Option’.
- Select the account number to be linked.
- Create your unique ID, here you have to check availability. After this you have to confirm it.
How to make online payment?
- If you are purchasing online somewhere, then choose the option of UPI in the payment method.
- Enter ICICI Bank’s UPI ID at checkout and enter collect request.
- Now open your own iMobile Pay app and approve the payment request. This request remains available for a timeframe.
- Click on the UPI icon in the top right corner of the iMobile Pay app.
- Click on Pending Request. After checking the details click on accept.
- Verify the details and validate the payment through fingerprint or login PIN. Your payment will be done.
How to transfer instant money?
- Login to iMobile app and click on BHIM UPI icon.
- Tap on SEND and select the UPI ID to be sent.
- Verify by entering the UPI ID of the beneficiary.
- After entering the amount, if you want to enter a remark, enter it.
- Confirm the details and submit. A notification will appear for the completion of the transaction.
